Absolute Pressure Gauge P/N CDPR980

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Chase Supply, Inc. (CAGE 1RZM1) located in Hampton, VA for the procurement of QTY 55 Absolute Pressure Gauges P/N CDPR980 in support of the Aviators Breathing Oxygen Analyzer System. The Government intends to procure the above items under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C.

Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Chase Supply, Inc. owns the proprietary technical data and is the only vendor capable of meeting the Government’s requirement. Therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. This notification is not a request for competitive proposals.

However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
