NORTH SEA SHIP REPAIR INDUSTRY DAY NOTICE

US Navy Ship Repair Naples Industry Event DATES:

30 January to 01 February 2024 LOCATION: Bergen, Norway DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS FRIDAY, 19 JANUARY 2024 This notice is to inform industry partners, the US Navy and NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella (FLCSI) need to gain capability for ship repair on the in the North Sea to support our growing fleet.

Ship Repair Industry Days will be scheduled at the Radisson Hotel in Bergen, Norway with a presentation from Military Sealift Command (MSC), Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) Naples and NAVSUP FLCSI.

On the first day, 30 January 2024, the US Navy plans to present a basic knowledge of the US government’s contracting regulation and technical standards required, provide assistance in all registrations, such as System for Award Management (SAM) to become a qualified US government contractor and the access to the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and adding roles to the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) for payments.

On 31 January and 01 February 2024, the government team will set up sections to have one-on-one contractor meetings to clarify any questions. Vendors are welcome and encouraged to attend any or all of the industry days. Companies might be limited to 3-4 attendees per industry day to ensure sufficient space for all to attend. Finally, we will be providing time for one-on-one meetings to vendors to address specific questions related to the ship repairs requirements.
