Q: Regarding the Mobile Storage Cabinet 750 LB OVERALL CAPACITY, 400 LB SHELF CAPACITY, can you clarify that each shelf should support 400LBs and we would require two shelves to store up to 750LBs?

A: The cabinet must have 750 lbs capacity and 4 adjustable shelves.

Q: Will you accept COTS items who's Country of Origin is China?

A: FAR 25.101 – The Buy American Act applies to all contracts for the construction, alteration, or repair of any public building or public work in the United States; and for the acquisition of articles, materials, or supplies for use in the United States.

Q: I don't understand (2) 12" wide shelves, side-by-side, for a total width of 24" for the SW1 when the width is 60” w. The illustration does not show this description. Please clarify your configuration description.

A: The upper hardwood work surface is 60” wide, the base of the lower unit is less as the shelves will fit into the standard dimensions for the figure shown on the print. We are asking for two 12” wide shelves that will fit into the base of the rolling table, side by side to total a dimension of 24” deep as the upper work surface is a laminate of 30” deep and the space below should accommodate a 24” wide shelving space.

This requirement is being solicited on a Brand Name or Equal Basis; no substitutions are allowed. Please see attachments for further details. Refere to the drawing package for the workstation that goes underneath a fume hood. Prospective offerors must have an active CAGE code to request access to the drawings package withing SAM.GOV.
