Notice of intent to Sole Source

Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific intends to award a sole source cost-plus-fixed-fee task order on N6600119D0059, to G2 Software Systems. This task order will provide development of Model Based Systems Engineering products to document each of the cyber security enclaves being implemented on the New Guided Missile Frigate (FFG) Constellation Class (AKA FFG-62 Class) platform.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541330. The current task order will expire 30 March 2024. The period of performance for this effort is for a total of 3-years (1-year base, two 1-year options). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the above-mentioned source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.

2304(c)(1) and FAR 16.505(b)(2), only one such awardee is capable of providing such services required at the level of quality required because the services ordered are unique or highly specialized. The Fair Opportunity Exception (FOE) for this action will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach.
