N66001-25-Q-6079 - Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Order to Planet Labs Federal, Inc. This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201.

The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific's intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to PLANET LABS FERAL, INC. Unique Entity ID TFCJCMKNHT74, CAGE Code 7YM73, of 2101 Wilson BLVD STE 1201 Arlington, Virginia 22201-3078, United States The requirement is for the procurement of satellite electro-optical (SAT-EO) vessel detections with image chips and associated metadata.

See attachment C1.2 INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE for Line Item Descriptions and Quantity's. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Planet Labs Federal, Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. However, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

A copy of the Request for Quote will be made available upon request. The applicable NAICS Code is 517410 – Satellite Telecommunications and the size standard is $44 Million in annual receipts. Comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted via e-mail ONLY to martin.d.mejia.civ@us.navy.mil by 24 January 2025, 10AM Pacific Time. All responses received by this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responding vendors must be registered to the System for Award Management (SAM). Information can be found at https://www.sam.gov. Complete SAM registration means a registered UEID and CAGE Code.
