Notice of Intent to Sole Source to L3 Technologies Inc.

The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific), San Diego, CA hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed- Price (FFP) purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with L3 Technologies Inc. The requirement is for the purchase of the following:

ITEM 0001 BVA Fan Tray MFR:

L3 Harris Technologies P/N: 1353512 QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0002 STT/BVA Fan Tray Power Cable MFR:

L3 Harris Technologies P/N: 1142080 QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0003 BATS-D Vehicular Amplifier (BVA)

Power Cable MFR:

L3 Harris Technologies P/N: 1283368 QTY: 1 EA ITEM 0004 Dual Hotshoe to BVA and USB MFR:

L3 Harris Technologies P/N: 1373296 QTY: 1 EA L3 Harris Technologies, will provide the BVA Fan Tray and BATS-D Vehicular Amplifier (the BVA is used to support the BATS-D Radio) which will be used during the characterization testing of the Battlefield Awareness and Targeting System (BATS-D) Radio Set that will allow for higher transmit power which is needed during testing of the BATS-D we have that supports the MIDS JTRS project at NIWC Pacific, San Diego CA.

Based on the approved JNCP (Justification for Non-Competitive Procurement), which will be posted after award, there is only one responsible source and no other supplier will satisfy the agency requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government.

The applicable NAICS Code is 334220 and the business size standard is 1,250 number of employees. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. The notice is not a request for quotes; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement may be considered by the agency.
