The Government is seeking responsible sources capable of performing annual preventive maintenance and certification for Biological Safety Cabinets (Class II, Type A2), a Chemical Fume Hood, and PCR Cabinets/Clean Benches. See below scope of work. SCOPE The vendor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, and equipment to perform annual preventive maintenance (PM) and certification for a total of twenty-two (22) pieces of laboratory equipment located at the Naval Health Research Center. The equipment is as follows:

Biological Safety Cabinets (Class II, Type A2) – Qty: 18 Chemical Fume Hood – Qty: 1 PCR Cabinets/Clean Benches – Qty: 3 The contractor's performance shall include, but not be limited to, the following services for each piece of equipment as applicable:

Biological Safety Cabinets (Class II, Type A2): Testing and certification in accordance with NSF/ANSI 49 standards. Services must include downflow velocity profiling, inflow velocity measurement, HEPA filter integrity testing (leak scan), smoke pattern testing for airflow visualization, and site installation assessment. Alarm function verification (e.g., airflow and window position alarms). Decontamination of the work area before and after service.

Chemical Fume Hood: Testing and certification in accordance with OSHA 1910.1450 and CAL OSHA Title 8 5154.1. Services must include face velocity measurement, smoke visualization testing to verify containment, and alarm function verification.

PCR Cabinets / Clean Benches: Testing and certification to ensure ISO 5 (Class 100) air quality conditions are met. Services must include HEPA filter integrity testing and non-viable particle counting. UV light function verification. Upon completion of service, the vendor shall provide the following:

Certification Reports: A detailed service report must be provided for each individual piece of equipment. Each report must clearly document the tests performed, the standards used, the results of each test (pass/fail), and any adjustments made.

Certification/Testing Labels: A physical label must be provided and affixed to each individual piece of equipment. The label must indicate date of testing/certification and the next scheduled certification date. The location of this requirement is San Diego, CA 92152.
