Manufacture Rapid Response Damage Control Conex Box

This effort is a firm fixed price contract awarded to WS Acquisition, LLC without competition. WS Acquisition, LLC is the original equipment manufacturer and designer of approved the Damage Control Conex Box, equipped with fire-fighting equipment, in accordance with NAVY requirements. This is a non-commercial procurement.

This is an urgent requirement for the fact that this equipment is required to allow for ships force to promptly and properly train for firefighting along the waterfront; and to allow for the expeditious prevention of, detection of, and response to fires on board Navy vessels during industrial work and to ensure safety of equipment and personnel. The justification for urgent acquisition less than $250,000 was signed by the Contracting Officer on February 20, 2024.
