FY24 OICC Facilities Improvement

A contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) was requested by OICC Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) for facilities improvement and renovation/upgrade of workspaces within NAVFAC PACIFIC, Building 550, located in Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. This project will include a build of an enclosed office, build of a front desk and reception space, and the rebuild of existing workspaces within Building 550, 2nd floor work areas. The reconfigured workspaces will require all new furniture.

The Contractor will be tasked to inventory the existing furniture within the affected spaces; dismantle existing furniture; store the furniture and dismantled parts to be reused; order new products to be installed; and discard any unused parts and trash. The existing Herman Miller furniture shall be dismantled by an authorized factory-trained technician or an authorized dealer installer in order to maintain warranty coverage for the products.

The Contractor shall provide all vetted personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to perform the work as outlined in the Performance Work Statement. The Contractor, CONTRACT FURNISHERS OF HAWAII INC (DBA OFFICE PAVILION) is the only authorized dealer/distributor of Herman Miller products in Hawaii. In the Small Business Coordination Record (DD2579), the Small Business Professional concurred with soliciting to a sole source, CONTRACT FURNISHERS OF HAWAII INC (DBA OFFICE PAVILION). The contract was awarded to CONTRACT FURNISHERS OF HAWAII INC (DBA OFFICE PAVILION) on 02 August 2024 in the amount of $298,852.99.
