X1AB - Lease/Rental Of Conference Space And Facilities

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Pentagon Directorate intends to acquire, via sole source acquisition, event space for a weeklong symposium for newly commissioned officers. This acquisition is in support of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV).

It is the intent of the Government to process this procurement under FAR Subpart 13 and to ultimately award a firm fixed priced (FFP) purchase order on a sole source basis to The National Conference Center. Performance is anticipated to begin on Sunday 20 October 2024 and end on Friday 25 October 2024. The applicable NAICS is 531120. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes - however, the Government will consider information received by the specified response date.

Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government, and will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
