N4523A25Q0050 Overhaul of a 3408 Caterpillar Engine

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PSNS & IMF, located in Bremerton, WA, is requesting a quote from your firm for the item(s) listed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Solicitation # N4523A25Q0050 is being issued for the Overhaul of a 3408 Caterpillar Engine.

The Period of Performance: 8 weeks from award. Competition is full and open to all Offerors who operate a Caterpillar Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Certified repair facility. Quotes must be submitted by 12:00 PM Pacific Time on 17 September 2025. Questions must be submitted by 2:00 PM Pacific Time on 12 September 2025. Late offers will not be considered for award.

AMENDMENT 1: On 9/8/2025 the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation had the submission deadline amended to 12:00 PM Pacific Time on 17 September 2025. This amendment was made to allow interested vendors to have additional time for questions and proposal submissions. All other details remain the same.
