WIRE SCREEN BASKET

This procurement is for four (4) Reverse Formed Wedge Wire Screen Baskets required for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) in Portsmouth, Virginia. This is a Sole Source procurement, and the resulting award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The proposed contract action involves items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Federal Screen Products Inc., under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).

Federal Screen Products Inc. is uniquely qualified to perform the required services due to their proprietary knowledge, experience, and exclusive rights to the necessary technology. The requested parts are direct replacements for existing shipyard equipment, and must be procured directly from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to ensure compliance with shipyard specifications. No third-party intermediaries will be involved in the procurement process.

Specifications are provided in Attachment A – Technical Capability Statement RFQ N4215826QE003. A completed Request for Quote (RFQ) form SF 1449 – N4215826QE003 must be submitted with the offer. Quotes should be all-inclusive, covering shipping and any other associated costs. No additional charges will be accepted after the award.
