Shaft Seal Sole Source Defense Maritime Solutions

This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source to Defense Maritime Solutions under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 811310. Size standard is $13 Million. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Defense Maritime Solutions for the replacement of one forward and one aft main shaft assembly.

A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
