Air Sampling for Asbestos

This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) solely for the purpose of conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10. NNSY is seeking qualified sources capable of providing personal and general area asbestos air sampling services.

Portsmouth, Virginia Projected Period of Performance: July – December 2026 Interested parties are invited to submit a capability statement addressing their ability to perform the requirements outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement. Capability statements shall be limited to a maximum of three (3) pages. Responses should include:

Business size and socio-economic status (e.g., Small Business, Large Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.) CAGE Code or UEI number Relevant experience in performing similar work Any additional information demonstrating capability to meet the requirements The contractor and all employees shall comply with security requirements governing access to the shipyard, shipboard spaces, dry dock, and other areas necessary to accomplish the tasked work.
