Root Cause and Human Factor Analysis Classification Systems Training

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is issuing this Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 10. No solicitation is available at this time. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement described herein may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received will be evaluated to determine merit.

Responses must be submitted in writing no later than 9 July 2024 at 12:00 PM EST. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430, Small Business Size Standard of $15 million. The Federal Product and Service Code is U005. The Government anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the required services.

This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated.

The following key information is requested: Company name, address, telephone number, CAGE code, DUNS number, point of contact (name, phone# and e-mail). If your company is a small business, please identify the socioeconomic status. Explanation of the company's ability to perform 100% of the efforts required. This statement shall not reiterate or duplicate the language set forth in this notice or language from the attached DRAFT PWS.

Your CAPABILITIES STATEMENT shall demonstrate your company’s ability to perform these critical tasks in their entirety. The draft Performance Worksheet is attached.
