This announcement constitutes an official Request for Information (RFI) as defined by FAR 15.201(e). This is a sources sought notice (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability and availability of sources experienced with preventive maintenance for portable chillers and heat-pumps.

The FEAD Parris Island, South Carolina is seeking qualified companies to provide services for preventive maintenance for portable chillers and heat-pumps for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island, South Carolina. The Contractor shall provide all necessary resources, management, personnel, materials, transportation, supplies, and equipment, except Government Furnished Property (GFP), necessary to provide services. Services are described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The work will be accomplished under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The contract term will be a base period of one (1) year plus four (4) option periods. Estimated contract start date is 5 January 2025. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract on time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six (6) months under the Option-to-Extend Services clause.

Sources sought include small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard is $19.0 million.

Interested vendors should at a minimum, fill out and submit the attached Sources Sought Information Request Form, inclusive of the following information: Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, business size, and disadvantaged, 8(a) or HUBZone status. Vendors are also invited to provide the following information, paying particular attention to address: contracts of similar scope and size, references, and record of past performance.

All responsible interested sources are encouraged to submit their capabilities in regard to the above no later than 9 AM EST on 21 June 2024. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government.
