Metalworking Machines Preventative and Remedial Maintenances Services

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to Sole Source a firm fixed price contract to Southwestern Industries, Inc DBA TRAK Machine Tools (CAGE Code - 06238) and is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The products or services needed by the agency are only available from one responsible source. Under Authority 6.302-1, only one responsible source is capable of fulfilling this requirement. There are no other authrozied sources of TRAK and ProtoTRAK products - The (OEM), ProtoTrak, retains exclusive control over diagnostic tools, factory calibration settings, and replacement parts, all of which are essential for proper maintenance and continued functionality.
