1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.

2. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-05 and DFARS Change Notice 2024-0627. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.

The Navy intends to award a firm, fixed price contract to Cepeda Associates, Inc., the original equipment manufacturer, to remove, repair and test the CO2 Scrubbers and CO-H2 Burners on a Los Angeles Class Submarine on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. REQUIREMENT INFORMATION: The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from sources capable of providing the following:

Repair and Test CO2 Scrubbers & CO-H2 Burners for a Los Angeles Class Submarine Required Delivery Date on or about 8/15/2024 Place of Performance: Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego, CA METHOD OF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION: Quotes shall be emailed. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
