AB Assurance Service Contract

The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to, Life Technologies Corporation, Carlsbad, CA 92008. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider a capability statement. The NAICS code for this action is 811210. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items.

NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following website: http://www.sam.gov/. In order to register with SAM and to be eligible to receive an award from this Acquisition Office, all offers must have a Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI).

A SAM.gov number may be acquired free of charge by contacting Sam.gov online at www.sam.gov or by phone at (866) 606-8220. This requirement is for a preventative maintenance contract for a flow cytometry apparatus consisting of a Cytkick autosampler and Attune NxT 4 laser Flow Cytometer.

As part of this contract, a standard maintenance visit will be included, where a field service representative will evaluate the instruments' performance, perform calibrations, alignments, as well as determine whether any aspects of the machines are in need of repairs.

In addition to this visit, this contract will also provide remedial repairs (with parts, labor, and travel charges included), priority response time, priority technical support as well as phone and email access, and remote monitoring to detect instrument failures or errors. All of these aspects are necessary to ensure that the appartus is functioning properly. Items include:
