The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. Offerors must also be registered in Systems for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov per FAR 52.212.1 lack of registration in SAM will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation in response to this notice which shall be considered.

The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed type of contract based on the lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a contract resulting from this notice to the responsible offeror. all offers must have a Unique Entity Identification Number at (SAM) at www.sam.gov.

The Genomics & Bioinformatics Department of the Biological Defense Research Directorate (BDRD), Naval Medical Research Command maintains a state-of-the-art genomics and bioinformatics research program.
