The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixedprice basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a basis for a company located within 100 miles of the Naval Air Station Patuxent River Base for items as listed under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 8.405-6(b)(1). Offeror's must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract.

This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov. **VENDORS MUST BE AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR/RESELLER. YOU MUST SUBMIT SIGNED DOCUMENTATION VERIFYING YOU ARE AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.* MUST BE TAA COMPLIANT** and **PROVIDE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN ON QUOTE** This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability.

Solicitation closing date/time is firm; proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Your quote must contain enough technical information i.e. data sheet, drawing, specification, etc. for evaluation. Your quote will only be evaluated based on the information provided. The award will be made based on lowest evaluated price of RFQ meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards.
