**Competitive – Open Market** U.S. Government ~ Tax Exempt Solicitation Information All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Grant Sturm at grant.m.sturm4.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 4:00pm 15 August 2024. Solicitation N0042124Q0320 is issued as a competitive procurement.

The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a competitive basis for Cargo Enclosure Bases (Part numbers are listed in the solicitation attachment) in accordance with the specifications listed in Section C of this RFQ, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13. This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6.

Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) database prior to Submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DOD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov.

Basis for Award

Items must be TAA Compliant. Solicitation closing date/time is firm; quotes received after the deadline will not be accepted. This is a firm fixed price procurement; therefore, the initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. Your quote must contain enough technical information i.e. data sheet, drawing, specification, etc. for evaluation. Your quote will only be evaluated based on the information provided.

The award will be made on the basis of lowest price technically acceptable, meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards. A determination by the Government not to accept the quote for not meeting the minimum requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Bid MUST be good for 30 calendar days after close of buy.
