FUSE Production Kits

SYNOPSIS - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 15-day notification.

The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Naval Air Warfare Center- Aircraft Division’s (NAWCAD) intent to negotiate a sole source Delivery Order (DO) with Fuse Integration, Inc., 4863 Shawline Street, Suite D San Diego CA 92111 in accordance with 15 U.S.C §638(e)(4)(C), work that derives from, extends, or completes efforts made under prior funding agreements under the SBIR/STTR Program.

The anticipated DO will provide the production, engineering, and delivery of compliant CORE processor systems to support aircraft/fleet introduction using the Tactical Edge Network for Targeting in a Contested Long Range Environment (TENTaCLE) core architecture.

This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C § 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(ii), whereby the supplies and services required are to establish or maintain an essential engineering, research, or development capability to be provided by an educational or other nonprofit institution or a federally funded research and development center.

Fuse Integration, Inc. is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the CORE processor systems and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to integrate these systems into the TENTaCLE payloads. Additionally, FUSE is the sole supplier for this specific mission system hardware and software configuration, and multiple programs have independently selected this hardware for prototyping activities. A determination not to compete the proposed acquisition is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
