1680 - Synopsis for NAVSUP WSS to add NIINs 016868689, 016868604 and 016229568 to the already established LTC N00383-23-D-DY01 for the F-18 Aircraft System.

This is a Synopsis Notice for the Dual Spare and Repair of Navy Weapon System - Synopsis for NAVSUP WSS to add NIIN’s 016868689, 016868604 and 016229568 to the already established LTC N00383-23-D-DY01 for the F-18 Aircraft System. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the items as specified within this document.

The Government intends to modify existing Repair LTC N00383-23-D-DY01 with only one source (BAE SYSTEMS INFORMATION and ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS INTEGRATION, 80249 under the LTC) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The modification will be to add NIIN’s 016868689, 016868604 and 016229568. The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the items.

All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to the notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 day after the publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required.

WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair.
