NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to STRYKER CORPORATION, 3800 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI.

The proposed contract action is for acquisition of Maintenance Services of twenty-six (26) Stryker Gurneys (aka Cots), eleven (11) Powerload System (aka Rail System), twenty (20) Stair-PRO Chair systems and sixteen (16) LUCAS3 Chest Compression devices which are located at multiple locations across Command Navy Region Southwest (CNRSW), detailed in the attached document. STRYKER CORPORATION is the only company capable of providing the warrantied maintenance required.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely by the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No Solicitation document is available.

The NAICS code 811210 and the applicable business size standard is $20.5M. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, UEI, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number.
