6660 - Micro Weather Sensor Stations

This requirement is to procure 6 brand new Micro Weather Sensor Stations, 6 each 15-foot USB (A) to Serial Adapter Cable and DC Wall Converter, 6 each 50-foot Serial to Serial Extension Cable, 6 each Micro Weather Sensor Pelican Case, 6 each Rugged Carbon Fiber Tripod with Mounting and Staking Kits. These units will be unattended ground sensors, must be fully integrated into a single, robust, self contained unit, and the units must be capable of being deployed globally in remote or denied locations for meteorological monitoring. General requirements include:

Real time weather reporting without the need for data loggers, processors or communication units being deployed into the field. Contain DoD Iridium Satellite Communications. The weight of the Micro Weather sensor must be equal to or less than 5 lbs. This equipment is needed to support teams while on deployment or supporting fleet exercises afloat and or ashore.
