Notice of Intent to Sole Source

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a commercial Sole Source contract to Southwest Warehouse Solutions, CAGE: 42JX0 in accordance with FAR 13.501 and FAR 6.302-1.

This requirement is for MODULA, Vertical Lift Module (VLM) Maintenance The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) to Government Owned VLMs, provide spare parts kits that supports the specific model for each VLM, along with Phone Support (PS) and First-Aid Training as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The proposed contract action is for a Sole Source Firm-Fixed-Price contract under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals and no solicitation nor RFQ will be forthcoming. Responsible sources may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in response to this notice by July 29, 2024 12:00 p.m. PST via e-mail to yesica.l.burrill.civ@us.navy.mil which shall be considered by the agency.

Information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
