THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, SURVIVAL SYSTEMS USA INC;

Cage Code: 1LDF2, IAW FAR 13.106(b)(1). The proposed acquisition is for the Multi-place Egress Training System (METS) 9D6 braking system repair parts: AIR CYLINDER ASSEMBLY STAINLESS STEEL - M30, M40 (Part 07-16517); LOWER BRAKE PLATE ASSEMBLY - M30, 40 (Part 07-1206) and SHIPPING (Part SHIP). The NAICS Code is 811310 and the PSC is 3590 - Miscellaneous Service and Trade Equipment. Provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05 are incorporated.

It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at: https://www.acquisition.gov/. Proposals are not being accepted in response to this document. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, BUMED/FM and C Directorate intends to acquire on a sole source basis supply via Firm Fixed Price contract.

The awarded contract for the above requirement is for a commercial supply for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to future similar requirements; however, this notice is not intended to be a request for competitive quotations from any source.

Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on response received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice.
