W44 Cable Harness

This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement 206.302-1(d). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), is seeking a supplier for a W44 Cable Harness. The harness is a multi-conductor cable, consisting of various gauge copper conductors, and Low Smoke Zero Halogen cable jacket and strain relief boots. Details of which can be supplied in the controlled Drawing.

This procurement includes unclassified controlled technical information assigned a restricted distribution statement which is export controlled. To receive this unclassified controlled technical information, an Offeror must be currently certified through the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program. To become certified for receipt of the technical documents, a U.S. Offeror must submit a completed DD Form 2345 to the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office.

Canadian Offerors may submit either a completed DD Form 2345 or DSS-MAS 9379 for certification. In addition, a copy of the company's State/Provincial Business License, Incorporation Certificate, sales Tax Identification Form or other documentation which verifies the legitimacy of the company must accompany all DD Form 2345s.

Offerors are encouraged to apply for certification as early as possible in order for processing and receipt of information to be completed in sufficient time to prepare a proposal before solicitation closing.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. This sources sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey.

The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published.
