Description: The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking potential solutions capable of detecting neutron and gamma radioisotopes (as well as alpha and beta particulate radiation) for use within the Department of Defense (DoD) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) end-user community.

NSWC IHD is requesting information with the intention of identifying technologies that have the ability to replace the current system in a smaller, lighter format, while maintaining or exceeding current capabilities. This RFI seeks information on Commercial off the Shelf (COTS), Government off the Shelf (GOTS), and Modified Commercial off the Shelf (MCOTS) systems that could be directly applied, or readily integrated, to meet current and future requested capabilities.

Submissions should fully explain technological features, capabilities, and performance. Commercial, non-developmental, and developmental systems may be included in the information provided.

If the vendor does not have a current solution but has a concept that could meet current and future requested capabilities, submit the concept to include the strategy, risks and challenges it would take to meet the capabilities and a timeline for reaching TRL 8.
