THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. NSWC, IHEODTD Indian Head, intends to solicit and negotiate award with only one source – Cage#DH880 FRAUNHOFER-GESELLSCHAFT ZUR FOERDERUNG DER ANGEWANDTEN FORSCHUNG EINGETRAGENER VEREIN HANSASTR.

27 C Muenchen German For the following –Purchase Apollo Blast Simulation Software License APOLLO Blastsimulator Software will allow for state-of-the-art simulations to simulate blast from one building to another to support our hazard mitigation packages for the project FY24 NISE-219 project "ARC Blast Analysis". APOLLO blastsimulator is a CFD tool which is specialized in the simulation of high-dynamic flow problems. It covers various scopes of application such as gas dynamics, detonations and blast waves.

This action is be undertaken in accordance with FAR 13.106 (b) Soliciting from a single source, on the basis that the vendor is the only known source capable of meeting the government’s requirements The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541715. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotes. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 9:00 AM EST on 05-Jul-24. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties shall e-mail all statements, quotes, and capabilities to Sharon Cooper, via email: Sharon.cooper@navy.mil and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide these services.
