Custom firing cable assembly

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock (NSWCCD) is requesting a custom assembly of seven individually shielded coaxial conductors woven into a single cable, in acordance with all terms, provisions and conditions set forth in combined synopsis solicitation N00167Q1010. Vendor shall provide a quantity of five cable assemblies with each assembly measuring six hundred feet in length.

Each cable assembly will be constructed in accordance with the following minimum specifications: i. Six Reynolds type C high-voltage coaxial cables (P/N: 167-2669) assembled around a center cable ii. Center cable will be a Belden 8404 (P/N: 8404) cable or a cable that meets the specifications of the Belden 8404 cable iii. A braided strength member rated for a 20,000-pound breaking strength iv.
