NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER CARDEROCK DIVISION & DETACHMENTS REPAIRS & MINOR CONSTRUCTION/ALTERATIONS

This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract under NAICS code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $45.0 millions of dollars. Total Small Business Set aside. Small Businesses are encouraged to respond; Each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement.

Naval Surface Warfare Center – Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is issuing this sources sought request for information as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a contract for obtain infrastructure, sustainment, and minimal restoration, modernization, repairs, maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance repairs and modifications of control systems services for buildings, facilities, structures and related systems and equipment, grounds, equipment, industrial equipment, and other assets to ensure that they are in good working order.

These services will supplement services provided by the Infrastructure Division maintenance shops at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Bethesda MD, and its detachments at Bayview ID (Acoustic Trials Detachment (ARD), Dania Beach/Fort Lauderdale FL (South Florida Ocean Measurement Facility (SFOMF), Memphis TN (William B Morgan Large Cavitation Channel (LCC), Norfolk VA (Combatant Craft Division (CCD), Norfolk VA (Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story), Portsmouth VA (St. Juliens Creek), Silverdale WA (Puget Sound Detachment (PSD), Ketchikan AK (Southeast Alaska Acoustic Measurement Facility (SEAFAC), Philadelphia PA (Philadelphia Naval Business Center (PNBC)), Gaithersburg MD (Carderock-OL Olney Site), and San Diego CA (Norfolk Detachment Combatant Craft Division (West)).

Interested sources will be capable providing the services and supplies in accordance with the needed specifications within Attachment (A), the draft Statement of Work. Based on the responses to this Sources Sought Notice/Market Research, this requirement may be set-aside for Small Businesses (in full or in part). All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. This announcement constitutes a sources sought synopsis for written information only.

This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and a contract will not be awarded from this announcement. This sources sought notice is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. A determination of the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

If a solicitation is released at a future date, it will be synopsized on PIEE and/or the SAM.gov website. It is the responsibility of any potential offeror to monitor the sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide these needed items, please provide the following information: 1.) 2.) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. 3.) If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
