18 October 2024 Request for Solutions: Command and Control (C2) for Collaborative Combat Aircraft PURPOSE This special notice is to inform vendors of an upcoming RFS.
This RFS will be issued to address the need of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division who is seeking solutions that would successfully integrate existing autonomous air vehicle platforms and advanced communication prototypes allowing for secure tactical communications between multiple similarly configured platforms and provision networked data capabilities.
The Government will evaluate the solutions with the intent of awarding an Other Transaction (OT) agreement in accordance with 10 U.S. Code § 4022. BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY EMC2 Vendors interested in responding to this RFS must be members of the Expeditionary Missions Consortium - Crane (EMC2) consortium. Interested parties may visit emccrane.org for membership information. This project will be managed by a NSWC Crane Division Project Manager.
The RFS is anticipated to be released via the weblink listed above for EMC2 on or around 18 October 2024. In addition to this Special Notice on SAM.gov, the EMC2 consortium manager will notify all consortium members of the upcoming RFS on or around the same time this notice is published to SAM.gov.
PROJECT OVERVIEW NSWC Crane Division is seeking solutions for the requirement from the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD (R&E)) to develop and successfully integrate prototypes into existing autonomous air vehicle platforms and advanced communication prototypes allowing for secure tactical communications between multiple similarly configured platforms and provision networked data capabilities.
