N00164-24-S-NB57 – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT --MACHINE SHOP EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE – PSC K099 – NAICS 811310 Issue Date 03/28/2024 – Closing Date 04/19/2024 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) – The Government is issuing this RFI/Sources Sought announcement as part of market research for the procurement of preventive maintenance and repair, if applicable, on various machines located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, Crane Indiana.
Contractor shall provide labor, material, equipment, resources to repair, test and maintain the equipment, clean, visually inspect, and maintain machine shop assets. Disassemble to the extent necessary to verify failure and/or inspect for needed repair processes and parts of subassemblies as required. Annual maintenance is also included in this effort.
This requirement will be conducted on a competitive basis in accordance with FAR Part 12. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, in support of Electronic Warfare, plans to enter into an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract on a competitive basis. The requirement is anticipated to result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract that can be utilized for five years.
In accordance with Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 206.302-1, the Government is accepting information from companies potentially capable of meeting the requirements as described above. Companies with the capabilities and facilities that would enable them to meet the Government’s requirements may respond.
Responses shall address how the respondent proposes to support annual preventative maintenance, on-call maintenance (emergency repairs), scheduled repairs/upgrades, and phone/email support. A list of equipment and requirements is provided in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
Responses shall include (1) discuss availability of trained or certified technicians to perform tasking, (2) identify the specific industrial equipment (if not all) the vendor is capable of supporting, and (3) describe the commercial billing process used for other customers requiring similar services associated with preventative maintenance and repair. Discuss any risks or obstacles for immediate support of the tasking after contract award.
All interested parties may submit company and product literature, a white paper no longer than 5 pages, and/or other pertinent information, such as a statement of current availability and a summary of past performance (if applicable). Responses to the Market Survey shall include the following:

The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
