The ability for the EOD Robot to be man portable and man emplaced, while retaining the ability to drill multiple holes on a variety of targets remotely will increase the warfighter’s survivability during EOD operations. This includes the need for processes, people, and technologies to achieve mission objectives. Current technology does not meet the size, weight, and power requirements or remote capability required for modern EOD operations.
