5845 Sources Sought - Dome, Sonar (Bow Dome) - Maritime NAVSUP WSS

This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) for informational and planning purposes only. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) – Weapon Systems Support (WSS) is seeking potential sources interested in manufacture of NSN: 2SH 5845 014911342 Dome, Sonar (Bow Dome) to support Virginia class submarines. As part of its market research, NAVSUP WSS is issuing this SSN to determine qualified interested contractors capable of manufacture.

1. Purpose Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) – Weapon Systems Support (WSS) is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the capability to manufacture and deliver the following end items Nomenclature NSN QTY Dome, Sonar (Bow Dome) 2SH 5845 014911342 2 each base, with option 2 each 2. Requested Information Responses should include the following:

Company name, CAGE code, DUNS/UEI, business size classification (large, small, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.).

Prior experience manufacturing polymer composite components for US Navy submarine applications Description of capabilities in manufacturing polymer composite components Prior experience manufacturing submarine bow domes in accordance with Electric Boat Specification 4164 Information on relevant certifications, facilities, and equipment Examples of past performance related to similar parts, including contract numbers if applicable. Estimated lead times and cost for production quantities.

3.
