MULTIFUNCTIONAL INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS (MIDS) LOW VOLUME TERMINAL (LVT) FOLLOW-ON PRODUCTION

NAVWAR HQCA-2024-A-064 Distribution Statement A. Approved for public release: distribution is unlimited. (23 APR 2024) The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), on behalf of the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) International Program Office (IPO) plans to issue a Full and Open Request for Proposal (RFP) for production of MIDS Low Volume Terminals (LVT), spares, MIDS-LVT Block Upgrade 2 (BU2) retrofits, and engineering services to include repairs.

This contemplated Solicitation is estimated to be released during the third quarter of fiscal year (FY) 2024 with an estimated award date of June 2025. The Government anticipates to award one or more Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts which will include a one five-year ordering period. In order to be eligible for award, an Offeror must demonstrate the ability to manufacture and deliver qualified MIDS LVTs by the delivery dates specified in the RFP.

This pre-solicitation notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement, or any follow-up information requests.
