Modification to Digital Modular Radio (DMR) Production Follow-On Contract

This synopsis provides notice that the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), on behalf of Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I), Communications and GPS Navigation Program Office (PMW/A 170), awarded a modification to contract N00039-24-D-2000 on a sole-source basis to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) of 8201 E McDowell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, 85257-3812.

This modification increases the value of the basic contract from $82,809,017 by $88,490,500 to $171,299,517 for the continued manufacturing, testing and delivery of AN/USC-61(C) digital modular radio (DMR) systems, high frequency distribution amplifier group components, spares for both systems, and engineering services to support their continued fielding and maintenance plans. The base contract (N00039-24-D-2000) was awarded on 2/62024 to provide engineering services and sustainment support efforts for the DMR.

This modification increases the contract ceiling and incorporates production pricing for the DMR system and ancillary hardware. This contract action was not competitively procured because it is a sole source acquisition pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1) - only one responsible source (Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 6.302-1).

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334220 - Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. The Federal Supply Class Code (FSC) is 5825 – Radio Navigation Equipment, Except Airborne.
