57mm MK 110 Mod 0 Gun Mount Production & Support

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to utilize other than full-and-open competition to award a contract to BAE Systems, Land and Armaments L.P. of Minneapolis, MN. This contract will be issued in support of the MK 110 57mm Gun Mount FY27-31 production, logistics support, engineering support, waterfront support, technical support, repairs, components and spares. This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.

BAE is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and ability to satisfy the Government’s MK110 requirements within the required schedule. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the prime contractor (BAE) directly. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to fulfill the requirement.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to solicit from more than one source is solely within the discretion of the Government.
