57mm MK 110 GM FY 25 Spares

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to utilize other than full-and-open competition to award a delivery order under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) (see posting N00024-22-R-5317) to BAE Systems Land and Armaments L.P. (BAE) located in Minneapolis, MN. This Order includes the procurement of:

Spare and Component parts in support of the Mk 110 MOD 0 Gun Mount (GM). : This BOA order will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. BAE is the only known source possessing the requisite knowledge and ability to satisfy the Government’s Mk 110 GM production requirement within the required schedule.The Government does not possess a Level III Technical Data Package with Government Purpose Rights for the MK110 Mod 0 Gun Mount system. This notice is not a request for proposals.

However, interested parties may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement. Generic capability statements that do not specify how it will fulfill these requirements will be deemed non-responsive without any further communication from the Government. All responsive expressions of interest received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.

The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred to submit a response to this synopsis; any costs associated with responding to this synopsis are solely at the expense of the source submitting the information. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
