FY 24- 25 EOD MERC

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole-source modification to contract N00024-16-D-2215 to United States Marine Inc, 10011 Lorraine Rd. Gulfport, Mississippi 39503-6001, for the procurement of an additional sixteen (16) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Multi-Use Expeditionary Response Craft (EOD MERC). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1.

The resultant modification, will increase the number of boats under the aforementioned contract to continue delivery of critical assets for the United States Navy Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
