FY 24-25 Assault Amphibian Safety Boats

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue, on a sole-source basis, a modification to contract N00024-22-C-2223 to Silver Ships INC, 9243 Bellingrath Rd, Theodore, AL 36582-2710, for the procurement of four (4) Assault Amphibian Safety Boats (AASBs). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1.

The resultant modification, will increase the number of boats under the aforementioned contract to continue delivery of critical assets for the United States Marine Corps. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
