The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate and award a Delivery Order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to General Atomics – Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), Poway, CA, for the production, integration, and installation of Air Vehicle Detect and Avoid System (DAAS) kits and Ground Control Station (GCS) kits necessary for the successful operational capability of the MQ-9A Reaper Marine Air Ground Task Force Expeditionary (MUX) Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aerial System (UAS).

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis.

Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No phone inquiries will be entertained. Responses shall be made in writing by e-mail to the attention of Lauren Thompson using the contact information provided in this synopsis. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact GA-ASI directly at GA-ASISmall-Business@ga-asi.com.
