This notice is related to the C/KC130 Air Vehicle: Engine Module Repair Sources Sought Notice posted on July 31, 2024. The purpose of this notice is to announce the Naval Air Systems Command’s (NAVAIR) initial determination per FAR 19.502-2(b) to competitively award a contract for the C/KC130 Air Vehicle: Engine Module Repair procurement using a Full and Open Competition.
The Government anticipates a single award, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with a five-year ordering period. The anticipated contract award is the second quarter of Government Fiscal Year 2026. The subject procurement is for the C/KC130 Air Vehicle: Engine Module Repair, which will require the Contractor to return T56 engine Modules to a Ready For Issue (RFI) material condition.
The Contractor shall perform Series 3.0 engine module repairs, and overhaul and repairs of T56 Series 3.0 Quick Engine Change Kits (QECK). The Government anticipates that work will be performed in the United States. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
