MQ-4C Triton DMS LTB Procurement 10

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to contract on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation – Aerospace Systems (NGAS), San Diego, CA, for the procurement of hardware with known Last Time Buy (LTB) dates to address Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) within MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

This action is anticipated to award in FY 2025. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” As the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the MQ-4C Triton UAS, NGAS is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, engineering expertise, and technical data required to meet the Government’s requirements within the program’s cost and schedule constraints.
