THIS REQUIREMENT IS ADVERTISED AS SOLE SOURCE. THE NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information that is received.
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to negotiate and award a modification to Delivery Order (DO) N0001924F0259 under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0006 for Next Generation Electronic Attack Unit (NGEAU) Retrofit and Test (R&T) for additional Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) and Software in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
Quantities are not applicable to this effort. As the contractor, Boeing has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to The Boeing Company, 6200 James S McDonnell Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63134-1939. It is anticipated that the award of a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee contract will be issued. A plan period of performance end date of April 2028 is expected upon award.
