MJU-68/B Flare, Infrared, Countermeasures - Award

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD awarded a firm fixed price contract modification, N0001921C0081-P00007, on a sole source basis to Chemring Australia Pty Ltd. for the production and delivery of MJU-68/B Flare, Infrared, Countermeasures. This acquisition was procured on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C 3204 (a)(1) (formerly known as 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1)), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
