25 June 2024 P-8A Engine Depot Maintenance and Repair Order Modification

On 25 June 2024, Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters, 47123 Buse Road, Bldg 2272, Patuxent River, MD 20670 issued a $1,087,648 modification to Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract (IDIQ MAC) N0001918D0110 Order N0001924F0113 on a sole source basis to Standard Aero Inc. of San Antonio, TX. The Order was issued to Standard Aero resulting from a fair opportunity competition among IDIQ MAC holders. The modification procures depot maintenance and repair services on P-8A engines.

It not only exercises options, but also is issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract for the procurement of life limited parts and the incorporation of technical directives into engines inducted at Standard Aero’s facility located in Winnipeg Canada.
