DAIRCM Follow-On BOA

DRS Systems, Inc., Melbourne, Florida is awarded a sole source basic ordering agreement (BOA) order for supplies and services to support the AN/AAQ-45 Distributed Aperture Infrared Countermeasure (DAIRCM) system and the Deployable Flight Incident Recorder System (DFIRS) and associated equipment.

The BOA will include, but is not limited to, logistics and engineering efforts to support non-recurring engineering (NRE) for technical insertion of the DAIRCM software Operational Flight Program (OFP) into multiple platforms; procurements of WRAs, SRAs, Support Equipment, materials, piece parts, and technical data; repairs and refurbishment of WRAs, SRAs and Support Equipment; and support of test and Fleet aircraft installs. The engineering support efforts to be procured under the BOA include, but are not limited to:

fault analysis and corrective actions; performance of studies as required; software/hardware development efforts; test and field support; aircraft integration support and non-recurring engineering and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development. The agreement period will be from May 14, 2024 to January 31, 2029. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
